Lewis Moore started his career as a waiter, but has been in the kitchen most of his working life. Recently, he was nominated for and subsequently won our Father Day competition, thanking Dads everywhere for their hard work as a Waiter on Father’s Day.
Although Lewis’s waiter days are over; his friend, a loyal customer, nominated him to recognise the hard work and conscientious nature he continues to apply every day.
With 15 years of experience, Lewis has been a great asset to a number of restaurants. He started in Woburn, at the Birch, before moving to Australia to work. Coming back to the UK, he worked under Tom Kerridge, the Head chef and Owners of the Hand and Flowers in Marlow. He also worked at 185 Watling Street in Towcester, and the Anchor in Ashley Guise, before joining the EPIC&HEROIC group in 2015 as the Head Chef at the Wheatsheaf Pub and Grill.
His nomination reflects his professionalism in the delivery of excellent customer service and experience since the beginning of his Waiting days. We always find it truly inspirational to see customers recognising such positive customer service, even years after their experience.
